This Refund Policy explains when and how refunds are issued for bookings made through Globitude Travels. It should be read together with our Terms & Conditions and Cancellation Policy.
1. Refund Eligibility
- Refund eligibility depends entirely on the fare rules of the operating airline and the ticket type you purchased.
- Certain promotional or discounted fares may be non-refundable. Please check the fare conditions before booking.
- Globitude Travels acts as an intermediary and can only process a refund to the extent the airline permits one.
2. How Refunds Are Processed
- Where a refund is permitted, we process it back to your original payment method after deducting any applicable airline penalties and service fees.
- Refunds are processed according to the airline's procedures and may take several weeks to reach your account, depending on the airline and your payment provider.
- To start a refund request, contact our support team at reservations@globitudetravels.com with your booking reference.
3. Fees & Deductions
- Airline cancellation and penalty charges are deducted from any refundable amount as per the fare rules.
- Service fees charged by Globitude Travels are generally non-refundable, even where the airline refunds the fare.
- In cases of denied boarding or airline cancellation, any refund is subject to the airline's policies, and we reserve the right to deduct reasonable cancellation, service, or processing fees.
4. Taxes & Additional Charges
The amount paid at the time of booking represents the base fare only and may not include all taxes and fees. Refundable government taxes, where applicable, are returned in line with airline and regulatory procedures.
5. No-Show & Unused Tickets
No-show passengers may incur full loss of ticket value. Any residual refundable amount on an unused ticket is subject to the operating airline's fare rules.
Tip: Travel insurance purchased at the time of booking can help recover costs that fall outside airline and agency refund rules.
