us.api.globitudetravels.com is where Globitude Travels sells flights online. Here's how a booking works from the first search to the e-ticket, what you get along the way, and when a phone call is the better route.
Have these ready before you start
- Full names and dates of birth for every traveler, as shown on their ID.
- An email address you check, since your confirmation goes there.
- A phone number where the team can reach you about your booking.
- Your payment details and any code you want to use.
Booking on the Globitude Travels flight booking website in 5 steps
1. Search your route
On the home page, enter where you're flying from and to, your dates and the number of travelers. The search checks live fares across more than 600 airlines.
2. Compare the results
Results come back cheapest first, and qualifying routes carry no markup on the fare. The fares shown are base fares; taxes and fees come later, when an agent confirms your final price.
3. Enter traveler details
Type each name exactly as it appears on the passport or ID the traveler will use. Airlines check names closely, and a small typo can cause trouble at the airport.
4. Add a code and pay the base fare
Have a valid coupon, promo or voucher code? Enter it in the code box and the amount due updates before payment. Codes that are live right now are listed on our coupons page. This step charges the base fare, over a secure, encrypted HTTPS connection.
5. Approve the final price
An email confirmation with your booking reference follows your booking. Next, an agent goes over the final price with you: the base fare plus taxes, government fees, carrier surcharges and any service fee, as set out on our service fees page. The ticket is issued once you say yes, and your e-ticket and airline reference (PNR) come once the airline issues it. Keep the email, since the booking reference is what you'll use to find your trip later.
After you book
- Manage it online. Find your trip in My Trips using your booking reference.
- Your account is ready. One is created automatically when you book, so there's no separate sign-up.
- Collect points. Once the trip has been flown, 10% of the fare is added to your account as points. Use them at $1 apiece for up to 30% of your next booking.
- Get help any time. Call 1-856-513-6369, day or night, for changes, cancellations and special requests.
When to book by phone instead
The website shows published fares. Our agents can also sell contracted consolidator fares that never appear on the site, and those often come in under the website price, especially for international trips. A call makes sense if:
- you're flying internationally,
- you have a special request, or
- you'd simply rather have someone book it with you.
An agent can also apply a valid promo code to a phone booking.
Hotels and rental cars by phone
The website is for booking flights yourself. Hotels and rental cars can't be booked online, but an agent can arrange them: send the hotel request form or the rental car request form, or call 1-856-513-6369, and an agent calls you back. Our page on booking hotels with Globitude Travels explains how it works.
